- Autodesk ^® AutoCAD ^® Electrical 2024 Installation

You must have administrative privileges on your Microsoft Windows operating system to apply this update. It is also recommended that you reboot your system before applying this update.

1. Close Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2024.
2. Open the "Autodesk Desktop Application" and select the Autocad Electrical 2024 product icon from left menu bar.
3. Look for "ACADE_2024_SIEMENS_AG_Content_Update_1.0" and click to install the update
• If Inventor 2024 is installed on the user's machine, 3D Symbol files will be installed to it's default electrical content location i.e. on "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor Electrical Library 2024" location.
• This update creates a backup file of existing catalog database before appending new content in the existing database.
• This update will skip the installation of new catalog content MDB tables that have collisions in the ASSEMBLYLIST column with existing data. Users may check the log files `%TEMP%\DbMergeManager_*.log` for details.
4. Launch Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2024 and start working with the updated Siemens AG content.

Note: This update cannot be reverted once installed.
